TexLUG will put on a LEGO train display at the 3rd annual Model Train Show at the Mall of the Mainland (Texas City, Texas). This will take place 11am to 6pm on Saturday, July 11, 2009.

LEGO will hold a master model build event June 12-14 at the Baybrook LEGO store. This event will be just like the big Yoda build last year during the grand opening of the store.
Everyone is invited to come out and help. The LEGO master model builder will need assistance with the build. Please see this post on our discussion forum for more details about the build.

We’ve been accepted and it’s been confirmed that TexLUG will be putting up a train/town/??? display at “The World’s Greatest Hobby on Tour” model train show in San Antonio, Texas on Feburary 21st and 22nd, 2009.

Our display at Maker Faire was a big hit! We won not one but two Editor’s Choice awards! Chris MacD’s Apple Store seems to have gotten some attention, too.
I think we may have found quite a few new members as well. We hope to see them in the forum soon.
