The Quintessential TexLUG meeting: Brick Fiesta is rapidly approaching!

It runs from Thursday July 4th through Sunday July 7th and this year is being held at the Hampton Suites & Convention Center Mesquite in Mesquite, TX near Dallas.

I can honestly say that this is a fantastic time to be had by anyone interested in Lego. There will be a ton of Lego creations to see, Lego fans to talk and network with, friendly competitions, and a variety of other Lego related events.

Check out their website for more information.

Hope to see you there!

Working Technic Garbage Truck

Written by GlenW on July 23rd, 2012

Ok, so this is not TexLUG, Its not even AmeriLUG, but it IS very cool Lego…

This Garbage Truck is an engineering marvel, an artistic masterpiece, and all around awesome.  On top of all that, it is a very unique build!  This would however cost a fortune with all the motors, pneumatics, and linear actuators it uses.

You must also see the video to fully appreciate it.
